Dr Abhishek Mitra is a Consultant in the Institute of Surgical Gastroenterology, GI and HPB Cancer Surgery at Sir Gangaram Hospital, Delhi. He is an extensively trained and experienced gastrointestinal, hepatobiliary, laparoscopic and cancer surgeon. He is trained at centres of excellence like Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Delhi. He is first and the only Gastrointestinal surgeon in North India with a certified fellowship in Gastrointestinal and HPB Oncology. He has an extensive experience of more than 20 years and performs all kind of open, advanced laparoscopic and Robotic procedures for tumors and other ailments of esophagus, stomach, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, colon and rectum etc.
